Oulu Pride ry:n uusi hallitus on valittu vuodelle 2023. Lauantaina 22.10.2022 pidetyssä sääntömääräisessä syyskokouksessa puheenjohtajaksi valittiin Minna Pallari, joka sai uudelleen jäsenistön luottamuksen. Hallituksen varsinaisiksi jäseniksi valittiin: Miru Heikkinen, Nina Keränen, Juko Koskinen, Helena Louhela, Timo Ranz ja Kajetan Zelech-Alatarvas. Hallituksen varajäseniksi valittiin: Vesa Huotari, Maija Junnonaho, Anna-Maria Maimanen, Sanna Pallari, Katariina Pohto ja Franziska Rantala.
Uusi hallitus aloittaa kautensa sääntöjen mukaisesti 1.1.2023. Vuoden 2023 tuottaja valitaan syksyn 2022 aikana. Toimintasuunnitelma ja talousarvio hyväksyttiin sellaisenaan kokouksessa.
Oulu Pride 2023 järjestetään 31.7.-6.8.2023 ja teemaksi valittiin: “Turvallinen tulevaisuus sateenkaarinuorille ja lapsille”. Lasten ja nuorten osuus Oulu Priden tapahtumien kävijämäärissä on kasvanut vuosi vuodelta. Lapset ja nuoret ovat omalla esimerkillään ilmaisseet, että Oulu Pridea tarvitaan ja he haluavat olla mukana turvallisemman tulevaisuuden rakentamisessa. Haluamme vastata tähän selkeään tarpeeseen ja ensi vuoden prideviikko keskittyykin lasten ja nuorten kokemuksiin ja asioihin. Näin ollen Oulu Pride 2023 viikolla tuotetaan enemmän lapsille ja nuorille suunnattuja tapahtumia. Emme kuitenkaan unohda aikuisia kohderyhmiä prideviikolla. Haluamme Oulu Pride järjestönä luoda turvallisia tiloja, joissa jokainen voi olla täysin oma itsensä. Tämä edesauttaa myös yleisen ilmapiirin muuttumista ennakkoluulottomammaksi ja näin ollen meidän jokaisen tulevaisuuden rakentumista turvallisemmaksi.

The new board of the Oulu Pride association has been elected for the year 2023. At the regular autumn meeting held on Saturday 22 October 2022, Minna Pallari regained the trust of the members and was elected as the Chair. The members of the board were elected as following: Miru Heikkinen, Nina Keränen, Juko Koskinen, Helena Louhela, Timo Ranz and Kajetan Zelech-Alatarvas. For the alternate members of the board were elected: Vesa Huotari, Maija Junnonaho, Anna-Maria Maimanen, Sanna Pallari, Katariina Pohto and Franziska Rantala.
The new board begins its term in accordance with the rules on January 1, 2023. The producer for the Oulu pride 2023 will be selected during the fall of 2022. The action plan and budget of the Oulu Pride association were approved as such at the Annual meeting.
Oulu Pride 2023 will be held from July 31 to August 6, 2023 with the theme: “A safe future for LGBTQIA+ youth and children”. The number of children and young people in Oulu Pride’s events have grown year by year. Children and young people have expressed by their own example that Oulu Pride is needed, and they want to be involved in building a safer future. We want to respond to this clear need, and Oulu pride 2023 will focus on the experiences and matters of children and young people. Therefore, during the week of Oulu Pride 2023, more events are aimed at children and young people. However, we do not forget the adult target groups during pride week. As an organization Oulu Pride, we want to create safe spaces where everyone can openly be themselves. This also contributes to the general atmosphere becoming more open-minded and thus making the future of each of us safer.
